The International Military Sports Training Camp "Kopaonik 2014"
At the 51st Skiing Training Ground Kopaonik, the traditional International Military Sports Training Camp “Kopaonik 2014” is being held. Military sportsmen, members of the Armed Forces of Serbia, Romania and Slovenia are attending this event.The international camp, organized for the fourth consecutive year by the Ministry of Defence, is dedicated to sportsmen who compete in several disciplines: athletics, orienteering, military pentathlon and fighting. Over 70 participants of the Camp will use high-quality conditions that the mountain Kopaonik and the 51st Skiing Training Ground have to offer, in order to get the best possible preparation for competitions ahead, most importantly – the World Orienteering Military Championship to be held at the end of August in Austria, but also for the beginning of preparations for the Military World Games in South Korea next year.
From August 6 to August 9, The Ministry of Defence will organize the CISM Regional Military Mountain running Championship, where attendance has been confirmed of the Armed Forces of Bulgaria, Romania, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia.
